Thank you for your interest in serving on the WCSLL board. . Vacant seats are filled by majority vote of the remaining and exiting board members. All applications will be discussed by the sitting board, followed by vote. The vacant seats will be filled by those receiving the greatest number of votes. In the event of a tie for a remaining seat, board will revote on tied candidates.

We generally have a number of qualified applicants and placement or non-placement in no way constitutes a belief about ability or inability to serve. Often qualified candidates simply outnumber available positions. It is our goal to place the most qualified candidates for service. To be totally clear about that, qualification for board service and baseball knowledge and experience are not necessarily related. Knowledge of the game does not automatically qualify anyone for service, nor should it be considered a detriment to that candidate. Simply stated, on field strategy is at best, very loosely related to the operation of a youth sports organization. There are many qualities a potential candidate may possess that would make them valuable board members.
